Gregory Kelly is the principal of Kelly Lawyers having established the practice in 1984. In 1999 he commenced practicing in Racecourse Road Ascot where he is responsible for leading and managing the overall strategic direction of the practice.

In the competitive Brisbane market he is recognised for providing quality legal services and forming long lasting client relationships. Throughout his legal career, Greg has practiced in a number of areas of law, however he has always maintained a focus on Succession Planning and Estate Law and Commercial and Property. Greg is a skilled negotiator and uses this skill in his daily practice where possible in resolving disputes for clients, however he is also skilled in litigation where court intervention is necessary.

Greg is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (S.T.E.P) and keeps up to date with local and international developments through resources and regularly attending conferences for professional development and legal training. Greg also regularly speaks to property and community groups informing of recent legislative changes that may affect them personally or their business.

Lindsey Miles

Lindsey Miles joined Kelly Lawyers in February 2014 to head-up the practice’s Family Law team, the Kelly Family Law Group. She was admitted as a lawyer in 1981 and has practiced exclusively in the area of Family Law for 15 years.

Lindsey has represented married couples, de-facto couples and same-sex couples as well as representing children as an Independent Children’s Lawyer. Lindsey has represented clients in the Family Court, Federal Circuit Court, Federal Court and state courts.

The Kelly Family Law Group works collaboratively with other stakeholders including accountants, valuation facilitators and doctors. The Family Law Group also has the benefit of working collaboratively with the practice’s principal, Greg Kelly, as well as other team members, who practice in areas of Commercial, Property and Succession Law.

Alex Holland

Alex joined the team at Kelly Lawyers in February 2019 as an Associate Solicitor. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from Queensland University of technology (QUT) in 2009.

In addition to her Law degree, Alex also attained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree (BSc) majoring in Forensic Science from QUT in 2009.

In October 2010, Alex completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at QUT and was granted the requisite Practising Certificate by the Supreme Court of Queensland in January 2011 and has been practising as a Solicitor since that time.

In February 2011, Alex was entered into the Registry of Practitioners held at the High Court of Australia.

Alex is dedicated to providing each client with clear and transparent advice, delivered in a timely manner and to a professional standard.

Alex was born in Australia to Polish immigrants. She is able to read and speak Polish.

Tenayah Miano

Tenayah joined our team at Kelly Lawyers in May 2018. She assists all of our solicitors as a Paralegal and aids in the daily progression of all matters within our firm. She is friendly and approachable and always willing and able to assist with any queries you may have.

Tenayah also has a management role in the firm and is happy to assist and take care of any enquiries that our clients may have. Tenayah ensures the smooth operation and daily running of Kelly Lawyers and is the point of contact for all clients with regards to the progression of their matters.

Tenayah has been working in Law for more than 5 years and has experience in a number of areas of law, however has a keen interest and experience in Family Law. Tenayah works closely with Special Counsel, Lindsey Miles in relation to all Family Law matters.

Amanda joined Kelly Lawyers in September 2018.

Amanda completed her Bachelor of Laws with Honours at James Cook University, Townsville.

She completed her Practical Legal Training at the College of Law on 7 March 2019 and was admitted on 8 April 2019 in the Supreme Court of Queensland.

Amanda has experience in Family Law, Wills, Estate Planning, Probate and Administration with some experience in Commercial Law. Amanda works closely with our Principal Solicitor, Greg Kelly, to ensure our client’s needs are met.
