Amy graduated from the University of Queensland in 2007 with a Bachelor of Laws. Prior to graduation Amy worked as an intern at Johnson Stokes and Master in Hong Kong, which was one of the oldest and largest law firms in Asia. Post graduation Amy became a trainee solicitor at a boutique law firm in Brisbane where she mainly worked in the fields of Criminal Law, Civil Litigation and Conveyancing. In November 2008 Amy moved to Kelly Lawyers to continue her traineeship before gaining her practicing certificate in June 2009. Since becoming a qualified Solicitor Amy works mainly in the areas of Commercial and Business law, Wills and Estates and Civili Litigation.

Amy is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin and is able read and write in Chinese.
